Online coding
classes for kids

Help your child become a creator through online coding classes. Code Lab HQ welcomes curious families across the United States, with projects that introduce coding, creativity and problem-solving step by step.

Scratch coding, games and creative thinking

Drag-and-drop blocks give children a way to explore programming without starting with typed syntax. In a Scratch project, a learner can connect instructions, change what a character does and see the result. That connection between an instruction and an outcome makes experimentation part of learning.

  • Connect Scratch blocks to create a character’s actions.
  • Explore sequences, repetition and simple game rules.
  • Build interactive stories and small creative projects.
  • Practice checking what happened and changing an instruction.

Learn through a project

Start with a character that moves or says hello. Change its instructions, test the result and add a new idea. A small animation can become a story; a story can become a simple game. The goal is to understand each step and make something the learner can explain.
